Diabetes Alert Day – March 24
Did you know that over 20% of adults with diabetes do not know they have it?
Diabetes Alert Day is observed every year on the fourth Tuesday in March and encourages people to learn the symptoms and risk factors of diabetes.
Early detection can help prevent serious complications such as:
Heart disease
Vision problems
Kidney disease
Nerve damage and other health issues
